Removing your data

HCMNJ Portal · Last updated October 2026

The HCMNJ Portal (portal.hcmnj.com) can post to a client's LinkedIn, Facebook Page, and Instagram business account once the client connects them. When it is connected, the portal stores the account's name and ID and the access key the platform provides, encrypted. Here is how to remove that.

Disconnect in the portal

Email michael@hcmnj.com and ask us to disconnect your accounts. We delete the stored access keys and account details for your Facebook Page and Instagram account within two business days and confirm by email. Posts that have already gone out stay on your accounts; you can delete those yourself on Facebook or Instagram.

Remove access on Facebook or Instagram

  1. On Facebook, open Settings & privacy, then Settings, then Business integrations, and remove HCMNJ Portal.
  2. On Instagram, open Settings, then Website permissions, then Apps and websites, and remove HCMNJ Portal.

Once access is removed there, the portal can no longer post, and anything it still holds for that account is deleted when we hear from you or the next time it tries to post.
